NJ League of Conservation Voters Endorses Team Collingswood

TRENTON, NJ – New Jersey residents in a handful of municipalities will elect town leadership by voting in nonpartisan municipal elections on May 13th. New Jersey LCV, the statewide political voice for the environment, is announcing its slate of endorsed candidates for these non-partisan local elections. New Jersey LCV expanded from just legislative and statewide endorsements to local election endorsements in 2020, having supported more than 150 candidates at the local municipal and county level since we began.

“As programs and safeguards to protect our environment and clean water are rolled back in Washington, it’s more important than ever to support local candidates who champion the environment. It’s essential residents go to the polls in non-partisan elections on May 13th to vote for candidates who will support the environment,” said Allison McLeod, New Jersey LCV Deputy Director. “When it comes to safeguarding drinking water, reducing flooding, advancing environmental justice, and preserving open space and parks, local leaders have enormous power. That’s why New Jersey LCV takes local elections seriously and is endorsing these strong pro-environment candidates.”
